Allergens are all around us, from dust mites, pollen, various nut allergies, and a host of other common allergies. People have searched for remedies to these conditions, to varying degrees of success. For some PA residents, allergy shots are the way. For others, they can only treat their allergies with nose surgery. Finding a place that can handle both options is a boon for patients, and thanks to Dr. Goldberg and the team, now they do!
As a team with over 50 years of experience treating nasal and sinus allergy issues, we’ve seen and treated almost every allergy. Patients seek us out because they are looking for a doctor who can help them determine the most effective course of action for their needs—and every individual is different. We help patients across Bucks and Montgomery Counties, including the following communities:
If you’re experiencing seasonal allergies, difficulty breathing, or any other sinus or nasal issue, an appointment with one of our otolaryngologists can help determine the appropriate course of action. Our local PA-based team can develop a plan to administer your allergy shots and get you on the road to clear, unobstructed breathing.
Our nose and sinus allergy services include treatments for:
As you begin to sift through your options for dealing with your allergies, the prospect of surgery will arise. After consulting with one of our specialists, you can schedule your nose surgery to deal with your allergy with one of our local PA-based surgeons.
The different types of surgeries you can undergo may not completely cure your allergies, but they will significantly alleviate your symptoms. From rhinoplasty and balloon sinuplasty to treatment for nasal fractures and beyond, our local PA-based team can perform the nose surgery you need to make allergies a thing of the past for residents of Jenkintown, Doylestown, and beyond.
In some cases, the surgical option may not be your only route. To deal with some sinus conditions, a steroid injection may be the only thing you need to address your ongoing issues. For Bucks County, PA residents, ENTFPSS offers a team with experience administering sinus shots to patients. We take pride in the care that we provide to the patients under our charge.
Montgomery County, PA residents looking for a local surgical option for allergies do not have to look beyond ENTFPSS! Our offices located in Willow Grove, PA provide a central location for our patients to come for their nose and allergy surgery. They don’t have to go far to find the skilled care they need.
Allergy testing is essential for adults and children, as allergies can develop at any point in our lives. We know that allergies can be genetic for young ones, so testing is essential to determine which factors in the environment affect your child. We can also help with environmental and avoidance allergy control measures.
Many adults don’t realize that most ear, nose, and throat problems are allergy-related, so the right allergy treatment is crucial to relief. At Dr. Goldberg’s office, your treatment options include allergy shots and drops, medications, and minimally invasive nasal procedures like nasal laser treatments.
The allergy shots you receive from our local PA doctors will help you deal with your ongoing allergy issues. These shots are administered over three to five years and provide you the relief you need from your ongoing allergy issues.
We also offer balloon sinuplasty, an advanced nasal and sinus procedure that can typically be done in the office under local anesthesia. Patients come and go the same morning and often can resume regular activity the day after treatment.
Whether you need a surgical consult or want a local PA-based team to perform your allergy shots regimen, you can find the best nasal allergy specialists in the region with Dr. Goldberg and his team! It doesn’t matter if you are in Plymouth Meeting, Conshohocken, or Abington, our offices are waiting for you!
Patients will now receive a one-year supply of serum inconvenient allergy drop standard bottles (total of 12). We believe patients should get value for their treatment and base pricing on the number of antigens treated since this can vary from patient to patient. In other words, a patient getting only a few antigens treated should pay much less than patients getting ten antigens treated. Build-up vial is free; maintenance vials are priced based on the number of antigens per vial.
Injuries to the nose hurt—a lot—and they often result in bruising, swelling, or fractured bones. There’s a good chance that a heavy blow to the nose will also cause some structural problems internally (like a hematoma forming on the septum) that can make breathing difficult. Suppose you suspect your nose is broken or badly bruised. In that case, it’s essential to have it examined and treated as soon as possible to correct any structural changes to the nose and prevent breathing difficulties.
Sinusitis is a bacterial infection in the sinus cavities that causes the sinuses to become inflamed and results in cold- or allergy-like symptoms. The main difference between sinusitis and a bad cold or allergy is the length of symptoms, lasting over 10-15 days with sinusitis. It is usually treated with antibiotics, so if you’re experiencing symptoms for longer than usual, call to make an appointment with our office.
Even though the sinuses are not fully developed until after our teenage years, children can still get sinusitis. If you notice long-lasting cold symptoms in your child, post-nasal drip, swelling around the eyes, and nasal drainage, there’s a good chance it’s sinusitis. Our otolaryngologists can determine the cause of the symptoms and decide on the best treatment. If you or your child experiences frequent sinus infections, there may be an underlying cause, such as allergies, a deviated septum, or upper respiratory infections. Residents in Maple Glen, Hatboro, Blue Bell, and beyond are encouraged to let one of our doctors know if you experience these symptoms regularly.
The septum is the cartilage wall separating the right and left sides of the nose. A septum is considered “deviated” when it is not in the center of the nose but shifted to the right or left. It is a common condition and doesn’t always result in symptoms but can cause problems if severe. Our skilled specialists can help relieve any discomfort caused by a deviated septum with a septoplasty, which can relieve symptoms like:
Many people suffer from frequent runny noses and nasal congestion. It’s a hassle to be always reaching for tissues and blowing your nose without any long-term relief. What many of these people may not know is that they have a condition called chronic rhinitis. Rhinitis is an inflammation of the tissue inside the nose that causes running, itching, congestion, and sneezing—chronic rhinitis is when symptoms last for more than 12 weeks.
The good news is that long-term relief from a runny, stuffy nose is possible. At Dr. Goldberg’s office, we offer ClariFix as an option for treatment for chronic rhinitis to anyone in Warminster, Horsham and nearby. ClariFix is a cryotherapy treatment that addresses the root of the rhinitis—the inflamed tissue. Even patients who have not seen success with sprays, pills, or drops are likely to find relief with ClariFix due to this unique approach.
ClariFix is a non-invasive, in-office procedure with generally minimal downtime or recovery. Most patients begin to see an improvement in symptoms between 7 and 30 days after treatment. To see if ClariFix is the right option for you, set up a consultation with our ear, nose, and throat specialists.
Nasal airway obstruction is any blockage in the nasal cavity. Most people suffering from this condition experience nasal congestion (stuffiness), but it can present far more significant problems, including difficulty breathing, difficulty sleeping, loud snoring, and fatigue. Chronic stuffiness or trouble breathing could be a sign that your nasal airway is obstructed. At ENTFPSS, our specialists diagnose and treat conditions like this one every day, and we can help you find relief from your symptoms.
People who suffer from allergies can experience congestion, swollen membranes, and other severe symptoms daily. If medications like antihistamines and topical nasal sprays aren’t providing relief, it may be time to consider a safe and effective RadioFrequency Reduction procedure. During this in-office procedure, a RadioFrequency wand is used to reduce the size of nasal swell bodies, the structures in the nose that swell in response to allergens. This procedure reduces congestion and allows the patient to breathe more freely.
Not only does RadioFrequency involve minimal discomfort, but it is also quick and allows the patient to return to work the same day. No medications are required afterward! If allergy medications aren’t working for you, Dr. Goldberg and the experts at ENTFPSS, PC, can offer relief with RadioFrequency Reduction.
We now offer a non-surgical procedure for patients who suffer from repeat nasal polyps with SINUVA™ (mometasone furoate) Sinus Implant. SINUVA is proven to reduce polyps and nasal congestion, and obstruction.
SINUVA is a sinus implant that treats nasal polyps without surgery. We will use topical or local anesthesia to numb the patient’s nose and sinuses during a routine office visit. SINUVA is then placed in the sinus cavity through the nasal opening.
Its innovative design provides a 2-in-1 approach: it is designed to open in the sinus cavity and release anti-inflammatory medicine to treat nasal polyps for up to 90 days.
The most common adverse reactions observed in a clinical trial were bronchitis, upper respiratory or middle ear infection, headache, light-headedness, asthma, and nose bleed. SINUVA is indicated for adults with nasal polyps who have had ethmoid sinus surgery.
