For better or worse, I've had quite a few medical visits lately, so I've been sampling the customer experience at clinics, hospitals, etc. in my region.

I found my ear care and audiology exam at Dr.Joshua Goldberg one of the most pleasant medical experiences I've ever had.

First, Dr.Goldberg uses ZOCDOC, which made finding his practice, verifying insurance coverage, and making an appointment quick and easy.


Upon arrival, his office facility was clean, pleasant, and welcoming. The office appeared to be a prior historic home, complete with a large fireplace, and an airy, open waiting room with interesting audiology and ear health information and items in glass cases (like a mini-museum). it was a nice place to spend time.

The reception process was the best I have ever experienced. The receptionists were friendly, and very efficient. This is the first medical office where I was greeted on arrival with EVERY medical form completed in advance. I had only to sign/initial on several pages... all my information was pre-filled, correct, and complete.

I quickly saw Dr.Goldberg personally, who was professional, engaging and funny. In addition to an ear exam, he listened to my history and concerns and performed a vacuum cleaning of both ears, which made a noticable, immediate improvementin my hearing. This was before my audiology exam, so I believe I was in better shape to accurately complete the audiology test because of the cleaning.
What sets Dr.Goldberg apart, however, is his genuine kindness and compassion. It shines through in every interaction, making me feel not just like a patient, but like a valued individual. Addiontally, his staff mirrors his warminth and professionalism, making every visit a true pleasure. I couldn't ask for a better ENT. Highly recommended!

I have visited Dr. Goldberg on multiple occasions for sick visits. The office staff is wonderful. I’ve always been given same day appointments and treated promptly. After just one visit he remembers who you are, how is that possible with so many patients? He clearly cares about what he does and every patient. I would never think about going any where else.

The services I received from Dr. Goldberg were excellent. My ears were bothering me for over a month. He took the time to listen to my issues and addressed each one with expertise. I received a Hearing Test with the Audiologist as well. I found this to be the most thorough Doctor I have ever been too. The office was very clean and the staff friendly. I am so happy to have found an excellent Doctor for my families Ears, Nose and Throat needs.

I recently had a visit with Dr. Goldberg. He is such a pleasant and caring Doctor. I highly recommend him. He has even followed up on my visits by a phone call to see how I was feeling.

would highly recommend Dr. Goldberg. He spends a lot of time with you and makes you feel very comfortable. I did not feel rushed like some doctors make you feel. He knew right away that I had an infection. Prior to seeing Dr. Goldberg, I had only heard the most incredible things about his wonderful practice. My husband and son use Dr. Goldberg as well. He truly is the best ENT out there.

Dr. Goldberg saved my hearing. Unbeknownst to me and several other general practitioners I saw about a “clogged” ear, I suffered from “sudden deafness” in my right ear. I later learned from Dr. Goldberg that this is a medical emergency with a narrow window of treatment opportunity of 1-4 weeks after first symptoms. When I first called Dr. Goldberg’s office his staff took my symptoms seriously and gave me an appointment right away. Dr. Goldberg’s audiologist found that I had gone almost completely deaf in my right ear. He knew exactly what to do. He started immediate steroid treatment and connected me to PENN’s hyperbaric facility for oxygen therapy. After three weeks of steroids and 14 sessions in the hyperbaric chamber my right ear’s hearing has been restored. Without Dr. Goldberg’s expertise it would likely have been lost permanently. I recommend his services whole-heartedly. Attached are my first and most recent audio grams to show the improvement.

Dr Goldberg was awesome and so was his office staff. From the second I walked in I was greeted warmly! They are so friendly. Dr. Goldberg took the time to listen to my concerns and I received a thorough exam. I left with some answers and some great remedies to try before my follow up in a few weeks. If they don’t work, Dr Goldberg assured me there are other things to try. I highly recommend this practice.
